Jaati

From Sikhi360

In Gurmat interpretation, the word Jaati does not always mean social class or caste. In the line:

the word Jaati refers to the physical body. Kabir distinguishes between Jeev (the soul) and Jaati (the body). The body is what society sees, mocks, or measures, but the Jeev remains untouched by such worldly judgments. Thus, Jaati here means the outer vessel of human existence, while the inner Jeev is the eternal essence.
